好歌同享 -- Blue Christmas

正當大家都在唱白色聖誕"White Christmas"的時候，Elvis Presley 卻在唱藍色的聖誕 "Blue Christmas"，一首不是常常聽到的聖誕歌。

去年，一位二十多歲的年青人，Joseph Hall，在美國的一個非常受歡迎之天才表演節目《American Got Talent》中，模仿他的偶像，“The King of Rock 'N' Roll” ，「貓王」-- 皮禮士利（Elvis Presley），他首度登場是獻唱Elvis於1956年的大熱勁歌，"Hound Dog"；由一個充滿活力，外表俊朗的當代年青人，唱出一首比他年紀大很多，距今超過五十年的流行曲作品，挺有趣！當時他的表演還未完畢，已使到在場內之觀眾熱血沸騰，喝采聲不絕，尤其是那些年青的女孩子，連帶三位評判也被他與及當場的熱烈氣氛打動，這除了是Joseph個人表現出色之外，"Hound Dog"歌曲本身的動感與他刻意模仿Elvis Presley的熱爆台風，對那次演出也是有很大的影響與幫助，因此也引證了Elvis Presley的影響力，持續了數十年，直到今天還是不斷地延續下去 ...... 。

個人覺得不論中外，不論那個年代，一個歌手可以聲、色、藝俱全已經是難能可貴，而兼且可把快歌、慢歌都能演繹得揮灑自如，更屬鳳毛麟角，假如再能創造個人風格，帶動潮流，更是不得了，此人必具有「王者風範」！早年的 Elvis Presley 就是一個這樣的人 ，他在台上之演出方式與潮流迴異，本身是白人的他，把鄉謠音樂、黑人的騷靈音樂等不同元素，結合成為個人獨特風格，加上動力澎湃的台風，把當時世界各地的年青人，攪瘋了！他早期之出色作品有充滿動感、活力的快歌如"Hound Dog"、"Jailhouse Rock"、"Blue Suede Shoes"等 ...... 節奏較慢的如"Are You Lonesome Tonight"、"Can't Help Falling in Love"、"Love Me Tender"、"Crying in the Chapel" 等好歌，還有其他的出色作品，多不勝數，無法盡錄。所以，他擁有的一個外號 “The King of Rock 'N' Roll”！實在是當之無愧。

聖誕大贈送：最下面的一個是聖誕贈品，2008年，Joseph Hall 在《American Got Talent》中唱出"Hound Dog"的片段，畫面中之勁歌熱舞，現場觀眾之瘋狂，藉此可以想像得到在五、六十年代，Elvis在電視作類似的演出，對當時的社會及潮流來說，絕對是一個極大之衝擊！
